About the Role

• Design and implement FTTx (GPON/EPON) networks, including OLTs, ONTs, splitters, and fiber distribution architecture
• Plan and deploy fiber infrastructure (ODN design, splice plans, distribution nodes, patching, and termination)
• Deploy and configure wireless networks (PtP, PtMP, LTE, 5G NSA/SA)
• Build scalable IP backbone and access networks using best practices
• Perform capacity planning, redundancy design, and high-availability architecture

Routing & Switching

• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS
• Implement MPLS, VLANs, VRFs, and traffic engineering where required
• Perform IP planning and subnetting for large-scale ISP environments
• Deploy QoS, NAT, CGNAT, and policy-based routing

Multi-Vendor Integration

• Work across Cisco, Huawei, MikroTik, and other vendor platforms
• Integrate OLTs (Huawei, ZTE, FiberHome, etc.) with core IP networks
• Ensure interoperability and optimal performance across mixed vendor environments

Fiber & GPON Operations

• Design and validate optical budgets, splitter ratios, and link performance
• Work with ODN components: splitters, closures, cabinets, patch panels
• Troubleshoot fiber issues using OTDR, power meters, and other tools
• Support OLT provisioning, ONU activation, VLAN/service mapping

Troubleshooting & Support

• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting (L1–L3):
• L1: Fiber cuts, signal loss, hardware faults
• L2: VLANs, MAC tables, switching loops
• L3: Routing, BGP sessions, latency, packet loss
• Diagnose and resolve network outages and performance degradation
• Provide escalation support for NOC and field teams

Deployment & Field Coordination

• Coordinate with field teams, contractors, and vendors
• Oversee network rollout projects, including site readiness and commissioning
• Ensure deployments meet engineering standards and documentation requirements

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain detailed network diagrams, IP plans, and configuration backups
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5+ years of experience in ISP or telecom network deployment

Strong hands-on experience with:

• GPON/FTTx networks
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
• Multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Huawei, MikroTik)

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider)
• HCNP / HCIE (Huawei)
• MikroTik (MTCNA, MTCRE, MTCINE)
• Fiber/GPON certifications (FTTx, ODN design)
• JNCIA / JNCIP (optional but valuable

Basic Salary: 80,000 – 100,000
